Photon: The particle in your eye

Photon is the particle of light. The particle responsible for the colour which we can see from our eye.

A Photon is 1 Million years old. Because it takes 1 Million years from sun's core to the sun's surface.

How Photons are formed?
Photons are formed after the collision of two protons. Usually two protons never come close together because of their identical charges but in the core of sun the gravity is so high enough to collide two protons and the result of that collision Photon forms  in the core of sun.

Why this newly formed Photon takes so much time to come at the surface of the sun from the core of the sun

Because of sun's three zones which are
1) Radiation zone
2) Convection zone
3) Conduction zone

In Radiation zone of sun when the newly formed Photon enter it actually collide with another Photon and these two photons loses their energy and now these photons need to gain energy again and this whole process happen so many times and that is why Photon takes so much time to getting out of the sun' radiation zon
Now after Radiation zone Photon enters into the convection zone in this zone Photon again take time to getting out and enter into the conduction zone and then after it Photon eventually reach at the surface of the sun.

Passing from sun' three zone Photon takes approximately 1 Million years

After from surface of the sun to earth Photon takes 8.5 minutes

Whenever you see the sun in the sky you are actually seeing 8.5 minute older sun in the sky.

The understanding and controlling the behaviour of Photon is called photonics the emerging area of engineering to use photons to building photonic equipment
